Now is the time to step back and survey your home or business, on the inside and the outside. Let’s start on the inside; look around and check for signs of any infestations, whether it be mice, rats, or termites. For mice, rats, or squirrels, look in the attic for any activity like small holes in the insulation, droppings and or discarded foods. While you are in the attic, look around for any bats, this is when they are the least active. The reason we suggest checking in your attics now, is because it is much cooler and easier to get around up there. This is also a good time to take a look at your insulation and other items in the attic that you never get a chance to look at.
Now is the time to find out if you have termites too. One reason is, if you find you do have a termite problem and do not want to tackle this job on your own, check around and you will find a Pest Control Company that will give you a break as they need the business this time of year. The only thing with termites, we recommend only the use of Termidor Sc and or Advance Termite Baiting System. Here, at A & E Pest Control, we really like using both of these products together as we believe they are the best in their own classes. Termidor Sc is the only liquid Termiticide that we will use and Advance Termite Baiting system is the only Bait System we will use.
